It’s been a few months since I’ve disappeared. My number has changed, my address too. I have to admit, I’m a little surprised that you’re still looking for me… still asking people to relay your messages filled with apologies and desperation. If I didn’t know you any better, I might be impressed. If I didn’t know you any better, I might be touched by your ‘determination.’ If I didn’t know you any better, I might feel like this time around you finally understand, and finally want to be good to me. But here’s the thing – I do know better.
