Excerpt 14 'Mislead Me'

Nothing in life will mislead you, more than your own feelings. Your feelings will quit on your dreams more than once in this lifetime. I know. I’ve assumed things that weren’t at all true, just because I felt something was wrong. My feelings almost had me quit on things that would have brought me joy and good news. My feelings had always tempted me to live a selfish life. It’s my feelings that I fight every day in order to trust in someone’s word. But I trusted him, anyways, ignoring that gut feeling!
