If you hear a song that makes you cry and you don’t want to cry anymore, you don’t listen to that song anymore. I started discovering more about myself when I wrote. I started to discover more things that made me sad about the relationship. I didn’t believe in writing anymore. And the problem here is, you can’t get away from yourself. You can’t decide to turn off the noise in your head. And, as writers do, we explain ourselves. Line for line. I replied to that letter – the one he had never officially given me. Actually, I wrote quite a few letters after that, like I said I would every day. A few more, that I couldn’t really get around to giving him. A few that I wrote that I had planned to give him for Christmas, but wouldn’t. So, when I say my final words – well, the last words of this story, it’s going to be one tight, well connected, emotional ball of words.
*He is the reason 'Nice For What' was written...*
